Unveiling APBF’s Latest Logo and Visual Identity
The African Poetry Book Fund is excited to unveil our new logo and updated visual identity, designed to represent our poets and honor our mission to advance the development and publication of the poetic arts of Africa.
This new design represents an important milestone in the APBF journey. The logo features a clean yet recognizable font, while the custom paint stroke and vibrant color palette represents the creativity, warmth, and optimism we aim to embody and share with our audience.
As we approach our 15-year anniversary as an organization, we uphold our commitment to carrying out the APBF mission through our carefully curated book series, contests, research projects, and workshops, while also engaging meaningful collaborations with publishers, festivals, literary agents, librarians, colleges, and conferences across the globe.
We continue to value our existing partnerships with the University of Nebraska Press, Akashic Books, Blue Flower Arts, and Brown University’s Department of Literary Arts and the Center for Digital Scholarship.
Our refreshed logo is an illustration of the artistic legacy and bright future of African poetry. It will roll out across all our products and online platforms, including the African Poetry Digital Portal.
Keep an eye out for the new design on our website and social media, and be sure to grab some of our brand new merch at upcoming APBF sponsored events!
