Lameese Badr

Lameese Badr is a Sudanese poet and holds an MA in International Studies in Education and Development from the University of Birmingham where she has researched the body as home and the use of poetry as tool for empowerment. She is currently based in Khartoum and works with engaging young women with alternative empowerment models that center their psychosocial experiences as Sudanese women and is looking to further explore the connections between home, the body, and self through writing.
