Siwar Masannat

Siwar Masannat is a Jordanian writer and the author of two books of poetry: 50 Water Dreams (Cleveland State University Poetry Center, 2015), selected by Ilya Kaminsky as the winner of CSUPC First Book Competition, and cue (Georgia Review Books/University of Georgia Press 2024). Siwar holds a PhD in English from the University of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. Her scholarly and creative interests include transnational literature, women’s and gender studies, and literary translation.
