Listen to Inua Ellams’ Afterhours Project

APBF Staff December 1, 2015

On November 26th, APBF poet Inua Ellams completed his year long Afterhours project and gave a reading at The Poetry Library in London. After spending the year combing through their stacks and writing in response to the poems he was reading, he gave an inspired live reading that you can now listen to on Soundcloud. Listen to him weave his own childhood into history, bringing to life the poems in ways only the poet’s voice can do, as well as telling the stories behind the poems.

The night also featured live music from TJ Owusu.
